I just found out a junior dev on my team is using a favouritism loop with our VP to secure a promotion over people who have double their output. They aren't particularly skilled at the stack, but they happen to go to the same golf club as the executive and constantly drop insider gossip during happy hours to look important. It’s completely killed the team's morale because we realized our meritocracy is totally fabricated. How do you keep grinding when you realize it’s all rigged by office politics?

Received an offer for non- tech CCM role and wondering if I should accept. I feel like I was lowballed and downleved despite having 6 YOE (relevant but not in tech). Not sure it will be beneficial to leave my current role for this offer to get my foot in the door.

Chief of Staff roles, yea or nay?

I was interviewed for a perticular customer, which went well and also received an offer. Few days before of my joining date, i came to know that the technology stack from customer got changed and customer had no requirement for which i was hired. However parent company still hired me and now they're in process of allocating me in some other clients. Sometimes i feel insecure about this situation. How to cope up with such cases?

When you’ve put in a lot of hard-work as a developer on a great project and received the best performance award but compensation has been same since Day 1…and have completed 2 years in the company. Furthermore no signs of compensation going up…Is it the best time to leave or stay? Additionally too many management changes have taken place that everything feels out of place.
