That sounds extremely low?
If you decide to take the offer, it would need to be for the potential it brings
If this is in Seattle that’s too low. If this is remote or somewhere else, then it depends.
Even worse I’m in LA
Extremely low? I’m an L5 for Amazon Vendor Management and make about that. If that’s the case I’m extremely under paid ha
Still better than current...
Don't spend/ count the sign on unless you can to stick around for a whole year.
Thanks for the feedback! sign on is prorated per pay check and not in a lump sum
Rising Star
I’ll say go for it. You were lowballed but that seems to be the norm for non-tech roles unless you’re coming from another big tech.
It’s ~25% higher than your current TC and will help you break into tech. In a couple of years you can easily exit to a better company for a 30-50% raise.
Congratulations 🎊🎉 again
What level is it?
L4
Raise your base to 80-85k if possible and reduce the sign on by the difference
Do not accept! They can offer more. Negotiate your compensation.
Stay with your current employer. Thank me later.
While skills certainly translate. Tech experience is also relevant
First of all congratulations 🎊 on the offer. Do the recruiters tell you the level for the role when you started the interview process? I have an interview coming up but still unclear on the level they are hiring for
I asked btw it’s okay to reach out to your recruiter to confirm
This is a good offer given your experience. You have a lot of upside for promo as you gain cloud experience and a good entry to a tech role
Very low, just received an offer for a non-tech role at Amazon and my base was much higher but depending on your current company it could give you a foot in the door and big name on your resume
