Hi folks, question on DEI

Context: my company at the csuite level is full of white men (and 1 female as CHRO).

I am in the DEI group that was formed to give more guidance to leadership. They are open but struggle to justify DEI (because all white, how can they know!)

How do I get them to understand that 1) representation is important, 2) white men from varying white dominant country =\= diverse, 3) their white struggle easy vs. minority , 4) diversity hiring will not make talent pool worse?
