It has been my experience that this is the time of year where a lot of companies put a freeze on hiring until after the first of the year. I would definitely send a fall up to show you're serious. Best of luck!
That is a lot of rounds of interviews. It can take that long but it typically doesn't. I would probably follow up once more if you haven't already.
Yes, I will, I received great feedback in the interviews as well, I know that their 3rd Quarter numbers came out last week which could influence delays but to not have a denial and be this far out is peculiar

I’ve seen it happening more and more recently where they have multiple rounds and maybe even a follow up round where one person just wants to ask extra questions.
I take that as a good sign because if they were not interested, you wouldn’t have that many rounds. They just have so many people interviewing so they have to be sure who is the best fit.
Best of luck!
Hang in there 2 weeks... isn't much for big companies especially this time of year with the holidays bad weather and transient workforce...you could send a thank you note but I think sometimes this is no help as they may feel you are pressuring them. At the intebiew I usually ask when do you expect to have your candidate chosen but had very cold responses to my query so don't recommend it. They may be confused on the type of person needed for the role as 5 interviews seems. But excessive unless it is 5 areas you would interface with...not sure if this would be the best job but if they offer it take it
