I just wanted to share some positivity and good energy to those who are looking for work in 2026. I spent most of 2025 looking for a new job, with no luck. I'm hoping 2026 will be different for those of us who are looking.

Best of luck to you!

Ps. feel free to share any tips and tricks for getting noticed!

I appreciate that! I've been out of work for 4 months and it's killing me. Got a couple interviews lined up over the next couple weeks though - fingers crossed one of them pans out!

Good luck! You've got this!

Love this energy ✨ Job searching can be such a grind. I was in the same boat for most of 2025, so I’m really hoping 2026 is kinder to all of us. Wishing everyone good luck.

Thank you so much for your positive thoughts and warm energy. I struggled to find a job for the longest time too and then was only able to find part time holiday work. Now that’s gone and I’m back on the job hunt.

I'm glad you found a little something over the holidays. Good luck on your hunt!

I am right there with you. I have been looking for 8 months and still haven't been able to land anything. Hoping that we all land amazing jobs in this new year.

Best of luck!!

My parents are visiting this week and mom and I made dinner tonight. Salmon is seasoned with Trader Joe’s ajika (a Georgian spice blend) and we just roasted the broccoli. The standout is the mejadara. It’s spiced rice and lentils with fried onions and is popular throughout the Middle East. We used the recipe from Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi’s cookbook, Jerusalem.

Would it be practical to look for an apartment 10-15 kms away if the office location is Marathahalli?
Location of choice would be hebbal, thanisandra, avalahalli and other similar ones.
Would it make sense to reside in such locations and travel to work?
Would like to hear from folk who are/have done the above?
