A friend of mine works with TCS as an Analyst, his base location is Bengaluru but he is been working from his hometown in Lucknow since the first COVID lockdown. Now he is being asked by his team to work from Ahmedabad, where his direct supervisor (manager) is working from. My salary was 3.1L until march 2022 and then post promotion 4.5L. I am serving notice period currently and I recieved a mail to submit Actual Investment Proof. What does it mean please help I am not getting clear idea. Should I file ITR with this salary?

Recruitment HR has confirmed in the email that I can collect the asset from pune and work from pune for few days until I go to kolkata.
Onboarding HR is like you have to come down to kolkata for collecting the laptop. Has Anyone faced similar experience?
