Lol wait a min. All those areas u mentioned are more than 20km from marathalli. If you have to travel daily its not worth it. There is metro construction going on so there's lot of traffic also. Try somewhere in Sarjapur, or maybe OMR. Hebbal , Avalahalli, bro these areas are like one end of Bangalore. You'll go crazy travelling. However I'd suggest you to look for something in Purva Midtown. Location wise it'll be perfect for you. It's gated community but maintenance is not so good, but still can check.
Any specific reason Y staying 10-15 kms away? Travelling 30 kms daily in Bangalore traffic is waste of time and energy
Looking for gated societies. Most of them are concentrated around that distance. And the gated societies around the office area charge a premium and owners give flats to ones offering the highest rent. So don't have a chance of finding anything useful in a distance of 5kms from office.
Get a house near matthahalli don't do the mistake what everyone is doing these days. You'll have a personal life after work if you live closer to your office.
Commuting in bangalore is a real pain.
Completely agree with this, spending 2 hours on traffic is a pain in Bangalore, find a good apartment which is near to main road will make your life easy.
Given that the future of work will be Hybrid, yes you can.
It will take around 20 - 30 mins by motorcycle. Tin Factory, Mahadevapura and Marathalli will have traffic congestions.
My friend travels from hebbal to marathahalli and recently during rain times he was stuck in traffic for 3.5 hours one way, so i would suggest you to find something near
In Bangalore the Marathahalli and the Outer Ring Road stretch is the most traffic ridden place in the city.
Try to stay as close as possible. If you are looking for gated societies, you can explore Brookfield. I have lived their, and there are lots of good societies around.
You can also check areas like Kadubeesanhalli, and Bellandur, they are in the opposite direction, but they are close by and have lots of good gated societies to choose from.
Yes, i do notice that the rents have gone up, coz of the sudden influx of people into Bangalore.
It takes a while to find a place in your budget, if possible you can find temporary accomodation at any hostels, while you look for a place.
..but definitely these localities have the most offices in Bangalore, so the competition is going to be steep.
However, no one will recommend places that are 20kms one way from your work location.
Either you stay close for steep rent and save on your commute time and travel expenses.
OR
Stay far away for cheaper, and compromise on the time spent on travelling that distance and in that crazy traffic conditions.
Check in Belathur or after hoodi flyover.
you will spend more time on road than office or home if you planning 30 40 km travel on that stretch
Nope. Honest suggestion having lived and worked through Bangalore traffic for over a decade. Unless it’s perma wfh, it’s just not worth it.
No
Go to varthur cheap and best. 15 min journey
