Have you mentioned to your boss your allergy? That feels like something valid to bring up
You shouldn’t feel awkward and I think (not telling you what to do) you should mention it to your boss. You don’t have anything to lose
My old job pets were allowed. I don't have an allergy, but I too am not a fan. I would like the office to remain a professional environment without me hearing dogs barking whilst I'm attempting to work. Or worse...marking their territory.
Oooo no, thats grim. They should at least be keeping an eye on their dogs so that doesn't happen or don't bring them if if they aren't trained.

I feel like prior to this they should ask beforehand if you have any allergies or are okay with having them come in for a period of time, rather than just bringing them in without asking, I feel like it’s polite to just ask as it’s not just them in the room. I think it depends on the employer and everyone’s opinions.
Yea it does seem so random to just bring your dogs into the office and quite selfish really. I'll have to look to see if there's anything in our policies.
I am with you. Pets at work sound fun in theory, but not when you're the one sneezing or stressing. Allergies are health issues, not preferences.
Precisely, I don't choose the be allergic. I mean I am more of a cat person but I still like dogs. I just find they can be bit a bit smelly.
