Start interviewing, you might find something you like a lot more.
A big red flag for me is unethical behavior. No matter how comfortable you are even if you want a cruise unethical behavior will come down like a sledgehammer in my opinion at some point, and if you’re wrapped up in it, you may even face legal consequences. I myself would walk away and find a better place, but I know that is easier for me to say it because I am not financially or emotionally invested in the same way you are, so take this with a grain of salt as well.
It could be worse. You could be the workhorse that everyone is taking for granted and/or you could be in a cost center making peanuts.
Find something new at your own speed. Meanwhile, don't compromise your ethics. But look around, the world is run by the unethical do-nothings and they're cutting payrolls.
Coast until you don't have a choice to leave. Then leave.
That's such a hard decision, but I feel like you already know what you want. If you are not happy with what you have, start looking elsewhere. There's no rush; just explore your options and, if it makes sense, make a move.
In your field, is it possible to make more money, enjoy what you do, and be intellectually challenged? Also, are you early in your career or are you closer to retirement? Many factors to consider.
It depends how heavy the unethical decisions weight on you. If your out look on life is starting go to be bleak I would start looking elsewhere. If it’s just coasting I would collect your paycheck. Just clock in and clock out.
