In case you’re wandering and wondering 😆

Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

Hmm.. I'm not seeing your comment. Are you still looking for advice for your current situation?? Let us know how we can help (I love reading the advice in this bowl lol)
Lol that's why it's so fun to read. I've seen some crazy ideas thrown out and people that are way too trigger happy on the divorce side of things but that's why I always enjoy reading/chiming in. Every once in a while we get a spicy comment, but i'd love to see more of those haha
Why is external help forbidden? Esp in this context?
We recently had a baby and my spouse, in between jobs, decided to pursue full steam a new business idea - this means working hours and more - including full time weekends.
I’m supportive as much as I can, but it kills me being accused of being lazy or unproductive, when I take the baby to and from daycare, babysit them most for the time at home, sleep with them alone, wash their milk bottles, deal with their documents and doctors. House chores we split, they don’t like my cooking, so I handle dishwasher and washer; sometimes we swap there. Spouse can’t drive, so you can image the implications. External help is forbidden. I recently gave up dealing with lawn and yard, and would like to hire help, and accused of laziness and being selfish. Am I crazy to fill I’m doing the doable? I worry about our health otherwise.
One advice is for you and your partner to read the stuff by Sherrill Sandburg, eg lean in. She talkes about the need for hiring help. It takes a village
I do t understand. Hire stuff out. Do not be dumb. You’re a partner. I’m not and I have a cleaning person come weekly and a person do meal prep weekly because my spouse and I both work in consulting and have two kids. Oh and we have daycare help too. Your marriage and sanity will not survive not having external help.
What makes you assume the partner is a man?
Why is external help forbidden? You take the baby to day care. Is that not external help?
Yes, for the hours it’s open, that keeps my job alive. However out of daycare hours, including nights, and over the weekends I’m mostly left alone.
