I need to be revising my resume to better reflect the full scope of my experience. Lots of that in the past, I have removed because I don’t recall details.
Small details seem to matter a lot. What tends to draw attention first when reviewing resumes? Of course, talking about the non AI software reviews

I once heard a recruiter say they will look at a resume for literally 15 seconds before deciding whether it's a keeper or a discard. So the most important thing is to make sure it's formatted cleanly and organized so it can be skimmed quickly. Small details may matter, but not on first impression. And putting a summary up top may be helpful. You don't want to have someone look at it and have to put a lot of time into figuring out what you're trying to convey.

Great comment - very informative, thank you!

For me what draws my attention is majorly measurable achievements and past experiences.

I struggle with remembering specific details, i.e., the measurable numbers, so I leave those off a lot. Trying to keep track of them to add because that is supposed to be something that really catches eyes.

I’m a 9th year in a mostly litigation-based practice group at a one-tier partnership firm. My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. What’s the best option here if partnership is the ultimate goal? Try to get a NEP/counsel position at another firm, which is likely difficult in my market, or offer to take a class cut by a few years?

Corporate or litigation, which is easier to reach billable hour requirement? In other words, which is easier to bill a lot annually? Comparably speaking.

How many matters is typical for one associate to handle (BL lit)? I know it is group-specific, but just trying to get a general idea. I’m a 2nd year and I am the only associate staffed on about 30 cases-meaning I keep track of all deadlines, do all day to day assignments, keep on top of following up with client/OC, and all research/drafting. Partners handle deps/court but that is about it. Is this a normal case load to be responsible for as a jr? I being dramatic by thinking this is too much?
