Any CAIA holders out there? How have you generally been viewed?

Thoughts on CAIA? Difficulty, hours studied, study tips, overall experiences, etc.? I’ll be sitting for Level 1 in September. Currently work in the fund of funds space - moving over to my firm’s hedge fund research team soon so CAIA seemed like a perfect way to get knowledge in the area beforehand. I’m almost one year out of undergrad (econ background) so a lot of the CAIA content is new to me

Has anyone done the CAIA if so do you feel it was worth it ?

Hi 🐠, question on CFA / CAIA- are either worth pursuing if you want to “up” your professional bonafides? I don’t come from a background in finance, but work primarily w/ PEGs like so many of us.

Has anyone gone CAIA route ?

New AWMA... curious to know what a reasonable salary expectation is and what the growth looks like for an associate within a growing ensemble. For context, background is more analytical, taking CAIA level 2 in a couple weeks, then plan on pursuing CFA.

Fixed income Credit analyst in boston. Make 60k +15k bonus. Sitting for level 3 cfa in June and have my CAIA designation. 10 vaca days/ year. Am I getting screwed?

CAIA or CMT? I do institutional sales for an asset manager. Am graduating in the fall with an MBA from a top 40 school. Would like a designation but dont want to do the CFA.  Between the CAIA and CMT: which one is more applicable to asset management, and better status/recognition? appreciate any insight

34w pregnant and trying to discuss our visitor rules with husb. My preference is no one to visit the first 2 weeks, after I would allow visitors but I don’t want anyone unvaccinated to hold the baby for the first 2 months and to wear a mask if we allow them indoors. The problem is my entire family is vaccinated and my husb is not. They are also not taking precautions and going to big events constantly. Husb feels like I’m singling out his fam.
