Bain & Company I’m from Italy and will start my master’s degree at Oxbridge this fall. I got my undergrad from a target uni in continental Europe. I want to start my career in consulting, possibly MBB, in London. I know consulting firms tend to hire locally but I’d really like to work in London and that’s also one of the main reasons why I went for the Oxbridge degree. Anyone, who might have some tips, or went through a similar experience? McKinsey & Company Boston Consulting Group Bain & Company

Yea, it does suck. Only thing you can do is find a better paying role and then you'll see the something again lol

That is the glowing reason to move up into that spot. I have PTO to take too, I just don’t like taking it all at once. The gap doesn’t bother me because it will always exist in some capacity.
That's why everyone wants managerial positions. :)

Ugh yes, it drives me crazy. I feel too I’ve been stuck in “middle management” where I’m too important to be junior where I can just slide by. But not important enough where I can check out for 3 weeks.
If they don’t support you when you take PTO then I’d be annoyed as well. Devils advocate, gotta assume they’ve paid their dues to get to that spot?
