Started in BL as a midlevel two weeks back and had a pre planned vacation which I’ve let anyone who I’m working with know about (in addition to letting the firm know before I started). Still feel like I am setting myself back - I have also let everyone know I am available in case needed and offered to help in any way I can but I haven’t offered to work through the vacation. Anything else I can do or am I good?

It is what it is. You booked the vacation and thought of it as a priority enough not to cancel it (not condemning you for that). But you will have the rest of the year to grind out on billable projects. Just roll up your sleeves and be ready to get after it once you get back. But there's nothing you can do short of cancelling the vacation, which is not advisable at this juncture. So do your best to enjoy the time off while you can, they may kid you up anyways once you get back. Safe travels!

Love how BS credit score is. Got my score up to 800 last month only to go on vacation so my credit utilization went up to 8% due to the increased spending and my score dropped 35 points because I didn’t immediately pay the balance after charging the purchases. I always pay my balance in full each month and have never missed a payment, how is 8% credit utilization determined to be that big of a risk that my score got immediately wrecked, I don’t understand
