I noticed on a call earlier today that, in my efforts to show a united front on a call with opposing counsel, I said something that sounded like I was taking credit for the thoughts of a coworker. Specifically I thanked him for paraphrasing something that I was in the process of explaining (his explanation was much better and went beyond what I’d said so far). I genuinely appreciate his insights and respect them as his own. How do others handle this kind of situation?
