I recently completed a summer internship with a mid size accounting firm, and was given a full time offer to start in January of this year. Unfortunately, I was let go by the company this month despite the feedback I got saying that I was meeting expectations for a first year associate during busy season. Should I keep the 3 month stint in audit on my resume, or will it scare off recruiters when I try to find my next job?

Definitely keep it on your resume! Three months of audit experience still shows relevant skills, and you don’t want a gap. Just frame it as a seasonal or short-term role. If recruiters ask, be honest but focus on what you learned. Plenty of people have short stints early in their careers, it definitely won’t scare off the right employer

Call is a second internship maybe? Like make recruiters believe that you were invited to do a winter internship. Then you completed it haha

Hello everyone ,
I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

Question about what to do next. I’ve maxed out everything—401k, HSA, IRA, backdoor Roth 401k. My bills are all paid. Get a hair transplant?

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

I sent my resume in PDF to the headhunter. He put it in Word, reformatted the sections, changed some languages, sent it back to me for my review. Then he set up a call with me to go through all possible questions I may be asked in the interview, and give me sample answers. Now I’m confused
