I'm trying to figure out how much it's reasonable to ask as salary with 2 y/o of experience working in the same field.

Hi! I have a quick question and could use some advice:

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).
I have to decide on the first offer by Thursday but I haven’t heard back from the second yet. Thoughts on next move?

Just finished the last of FIVE video interviews for a new position and have to share a tip that helped me every step of the way: taping talking points to the wall right above my screen. I carefully considered my answers to the top ~4 questions I thought they might ask and wrote large bullet points for myself. It kept me on track, focused, and eloquent. Highly recommended for anyone else doing video interviews!

I finished interviewing with Shop A 2 weeks ago and have been in contact with the recruiter (they're collecting feedback). Had final interviews with Shop B today. Should I tell Shop A or do I only tell them if there's an offer?

Honestly, I’ve never been more disappointed to be an HR professional than in the last couple years. As someone who has heard and experienced the unprofessionalism during the candidate experience, I literally am questioning daily why I went into this line of work. But I tried to stay and impact the change I want to see. I just am really frustrated by an unprofessional HR Director I encountered during an interview.

Dual role position for a sub-specialist. It’s a very busy role that includes surgery scheduling , prior auths for surgeries and tests, referrals, returning patient calls regarding their surgeries, and to add to it, reviewing the schedules for out 2 Mds, 2 PA’s, & NP. They want everything done quickly but with also close attention to details but with absolutely no overtime. Right now I make less than I feel appropriate but it’s also more than the other clerical jobs in our corporation.

I accepted an offer from Amazon in the Sustainability/renewable team in Seattle. I was curious in general how flexible AWS is when it comes to transferring you to other places (Europe/India/Middle East) ? My team is not there outside the US though. I accepted my Amazon offer on 5/23 via email as told by the recruiter who also took down my social via telephone and send me a old school pdf to fill out for a my background screening. At the time we decided on 6/13 as the start date. On 6/3 I received an email from Amazon’s version of docusign to sign my offer, and yesterday 6/8 I was notified by the recruiter that my start date would be delayed to 6/20 due to background not being completed.
