I'll be honest, I have been looking for new opportunities too. I don't see much growth with my current company and it is something I am concerned about for the future. Definitely checking for new roles regularly.

Yea, there is a lot of growth within my company which I love but right now I want to focus on the role that I am in. Eventually, I want to branch out and working for myself. I’ve been working on my side hustle and I’m excited to see where it takes me.
I don't think I have much of a future in retail. I've been trying to get promoted for two years and it still hasn't happened in spite of me doing everything that's been asked of me. Starting to think I need to try to get into a different line of work.

I understand how you feel. I was once there at my other retail job and I ended up quitting because I seen no growth within the company. Even switching careers can help you grow and make money. Best of luck to you.

I love this mindset, sometimes a new environment really pushes you to grow in ways you don’t expect. For me, I see growth in stepping into more leadership or supervisory roles, building stronger people-management skills, and really understanding the business side of things, not just the day-to-day tasks. Retail and hospitality teach you so much about communication, problem-solving, and adaptability, so I’d want to keep leveling up in those areas while taking on more responsibility over time.
