I recently went through 3 rounds for a role at Addepar: Round 1: 15 min, Round 2: 1 hr, Round 3: 1+ hr. Great conversations, great insights — but a few days later, I received a generic rejection email at 11 PM IST. No feedback. I completely respect that companies choose the best fit. But I believe even 2–3 lines of constructive feedback can help candidates grow and reflects positively on the hiring process.

So a company I interviewed with took me to the final round but rejected me for an architect role. Then, two months later the hiring manager hits me up for a manager role he thought I would be a good fit before the job was posted. We had a call and he said he thought I would be a long shot replying back to him. Also, he said everyone liked me and no need to interview. He said he has to post it and let HR do their thing before he can make a final decision. Why post a job if you want me for it?

Hi guys, After CAF completion by last week, yesterday I received a call from the HR for the second round of evaluation. So, I attended it yesterday and performed well by answering 90-95% of the questions. Even the interviewer gave good comments on my performance. But suddenly today I received an email that my candidature isn't suitable for the role and they're keeping my profile in the database. Does this mean they'll call me if there are openings with some other project?
