About to quit a job in just one month of joining... what should I do...just hit the exit button, or keep a call with the Manager or the HR?

What are the things that I should say as the reason to quit so that I face the least issues.
I am just quitting for a better opportunity but don't want to burn the bridges here at the same time.

Would request the experienced fishes to help me with this. I am new to these kind of situations and really need help with how to handle this.

You will already burn the bridge. Say you found a better fit.

Depends on how upset the ppmd you will be screwing is with you. If your file is noted with remarks about it then possibly. Otherwise we are a large company and you could choose to join another part but a large part will be what are your records noted with on exit.

Just say you found a better opportunity that fits your career interest better

It’ll likely be tough to get another job at DT in the future since you quit within 1-month. But forever is a long time and if you end up being an asset they need, they’ll take you back. More likely though, you would just not put DT on your resume and apply to the other Big 4s instead.

Talk to the talent person. They will walk you through the process.

I am a business development manager in a small biotech incubator. My end goal is to work in commercial, BD or operations within a big pharma/biotech company. What would be best for me:

1) stay in my company to quickly become BD Director and then exit (however my learning opportunities within my current company might be limited)
2) go do consulting for a few years
3) any other recommendations?

Thanks!

Hey guys
I am desperately looking to buy an 3bhk apartment in Bangalore for last 3+ years now. Anyone bought flat recently and are you liking the quality and atmosphere surrounding? Please refer. Our highest preferences are:

2. close to ORR (office commutable distance is the key thing for this. We both are working in Hebbal and Banaswadi)
3. Spacious apartment
Please suggest if you know a good apt.

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?

I like my current job, company and public accounting. I know I am being underpaid at $70k as a senior tax associate with 2-3 years of experience as I have talked with my local peers as well as local recruiters. Also, I know outside hires to my company get paid about $5-$10k higher than me, but they don’t get a raise the following year. My question is what is everyone’s experience with company hopping to get a pay bump within public accounting?

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?
