I don’t see how cpa exams could be essential in a time like this.

like

It is insane that they’re rushing this so much. Just extend our credits! In China Prometric closed in January and wasn’t opened until just this week. Why are we somehow safe to sit for the CPA on May 1 in the US when we’re still getting absolutely ravaged by coronavirus?

like

We’re an essential test. CPA testing resumes May 1

like

Its also on nasba website

There bigger question is for those states where lockdown is likely to be extended (NJ & NY), when will testing be available?

like

In my state it’s been extended till May so I don’t see how they will start testing where there is a lockdown in place. So to me, this all doesn’t make sense

I think state rules apply to this. So just because prometric says so its not the case for states with lockdowns..

Not true, my coworker just took an exam yesterday (in VA)

Check the Prometric site

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

Yeah but are we an essential test?

Pretty essential considering that we dedicate so much time to the CPA exams. I have two exams scheduled in June but who knows if that’ll actually happen 😡

I’ve taken FAR a few times at this point. I got two 74s and this past one I got a 70. I felt like the last exam (which was a few weeks ago) was extremely harder than the other ones. Has anyone else noticed the exam getting extremely tough? Or do you think I just got a one off?
