I verbally accepted a job offer on Friday at a small company, and we confirmed the salary and start date. They said the offer letter and drug test information will be coming mid-week due to the holiday. I still haven't gotten anything. With large companies I've worked for, offers came the same day. Should I be concerned, or is this typical timing for smaller businesses?

I’ll be working in a city neighboring a nearby state where my SO has to perform an essential in-person job. Since I’m not licensed in the state where my SO is working, I’d like to keep my current job where I am licensed but work from the office Monday through Wednesday, drive to the neighboring state Wednesday night and work remote at my SO’s place Thursday-Friday. I’ll keep a home in the city where I’m working. My question is: do I need to tell my boss? (I’d be productive as normal)
