A mentor will show you shortcuts, give you encouragement, and if you are lucky, they will be your advocate in career advancements, but that is it - all the hard work is up to you. Self-define what professional development you want to improve on: trade related skills, communication, strategic thinking, operations, leadership, project management, and then find PD seminars, classes (linked-in learning is great), programs and create a PDP (Professional Development Plan) and ask your manager to champion you in this and once you get started down that path find a suitable mentor to check in with periodically.

I have 2 offers from Myntra (Associate-M1) and Coinswitch (Business finance analyst) at 1.5 YoE.
Myntra :15.5 base +1.5 joining + 7 stocks(4 years) + relocation
Coinswitch :15.5 base + 1.5(joining+retention) + 2 performance bonus paid yearly.

Currently in the final stages of the interviewing process for a "non-partnership track attorney" position at a top-ranked big law firm. I graduated from law school in 2019, and my eventual goal would be to work as an Associate on the partnership track at a medium-sized firm.
