I wrote my first-ever LinkedIn brag post, and it feels nauseating and liberating at the same time. I guess 'you gotta do what you gotta do', but this whole writing myself up thing isn't for me. Either way, my post got some likes from quite a few people in an agency that would be considered a competitor to mine. Am I overthinking to consider that people could be having their eyes on me for a possible poaching effort??

I know everyone hates LinkedIn until they actually need it. As painful as it is - it’s important to be visible on that platform BEFORE you need (and are desperate) for a new job. So good for you!

Probably so if your post was as inspired as this one

It’s definitely possible some of those are scouts or recruiters taking a closer look. LinkedIn is a prime hunting ground for talent spotting, especially when you put yourself out there with visible achievements.

But even if it’s not intentional “poaching,” this kind of visibility only expands your professional reputation, which is never a bad thing. So yes, a bit of overthinking might be at play, but also embrace that your work is being noticed beyond your current circle

I’m seriously enatkng to get into an SE role and have been searching for Associate Sales Engineers that do NOT require SE experience since I’ve none. It’s proving to be difficult. Most companies for some reason are requiring 2-3 years of experience for the Associate role. 😭 Any Sales Engineers who know of companies hiring those with no experience? I am in tech as a BDR already.

Assuming the following holds tomorrow, I expect we will get a call of AZ around 11:15am ET, and NV and PA around 12:15pm ET.

AZ: next batch of Maricopa ballots 55% or less for Trump
NV: Biden wins >60% of next batch of ballots in Clark County
PA: Biden extends lead beyond 35K ballots

My intuition is that the networks want to call all three to provide extra margin for error given the stakes and fine margins.
