Bain & Company Hi everyone,
I am currently working as a Software Engineer in Persistent Systems.
I have total exp of 8 months and serving notice period. I have offers from Mckinsey and BCG for their tech roles, but I wish to switch to consulting.
Could anyone please refer me or if you know someone who could refer me at Bain & Company for the Associate Consultant position?
Thank you in advance.

Proud to have the help of Cactus, CPB, Fact & Fiction, Fortnight Collective, Karsh Hagan, LRXD, Madwell, Motive, TDA, and Vladimir Jones.
We’ve already had 8 applications in two weeks and with the help of these 10 agencies we’re taking a big step towards getting more Black talent hired at Colorado agencies.
We’ve got more initiatives to come, but this was a big one for us. What is your agency doing to help? Share below!

Denver: Less of an advertising destination, but a good “general” destination for creativity, design, startups, etc. Agency wise, the big shop is Integer which is not exactly renowned for their creative output. But I hear it’s a good place to work. Some other growing shops are Motive, Monigle, Vladimir Jones, LRXD and Karsh Hagan. Denver has a pretty robust tech and startup scene with lots of positions and opportunities for in-house creativity. Slack just moved to Denver and there’s a ton of tech meetups happening weekly.
Boulder: Very strong ad scene thanks largely to CPB and all the spin off agencies that came from it (Made, WIP). TDA and Fact & Fiction seem to be thriving. Grenadier/Barkley is up there too, but I know little about them. We’ll see if CPB can regain its former status w/ Bogusky back. Boulder, like Denver also has a strong tech scene. Google has an office there and there are a lot of tech and dev shops.
Overall, both cities have pretty good creative scenes and are both great places to live. It’s kind of a win-win. I say this as someone who has worked and lived in both places. Also, the Denver/Boulder rivalry is kind of dumb, especially since they are pretty close to each other (25 miles apart), but people stick to their bubbles. It’s like LA vs. the Valley, except Boulder is way better than the Valley.
It’s great out here. Move and you’ll see why.
Finding a place to live is a challenge, so do your research on if you want to work in Denver or Boulder. There are lots of meet ups and sites like Built in Colorado where you can start to network.
I’m a local, but most people in Denver advertising are transplants.
Denver or Boulder? Both cities have their own scene
I’m open to either what would you say the main differences are between the two scenes?
Thanks so much for breaking it down!
