I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Me too. But know that you have to sell why you are leaving so fast.
Lateraling after a year while seems soon is definitely not out of the ordinary. There are many reasons why associates lateral and if you find a platform that’s going to provide a better pathway for your career trajectory you shouldn’t let timing get in your way. Generally, after being at a firm for a year associates are able to make a determination on whether their current firm is a good fit long term.
At this point in the year firms are already looking to fill out their junior class so it’s not a bad time to explore your options in the legal market that interests you. It’s also beneficial to look at your options while you’re generally happy in your current position. It affords associates the time to find a firm that’s going to be a good match long term that will provide the right support and resources for your career.
I’m doing it too. Changing locations so I have a good reason, but life is too short to stay somewhere that you’re unhappy - especially if you don’t think it can be resolved.
This guy(girl) hit the nail on the head, life is too short. If you know you need to move along, then jump.
If anyone has any questions about the lateral process - feel free to DM me. Happy to be a resource!

I’m probably leaving during first year. Already figured out I don’t want to do current practice as a career and have ID’d practice area I DO want. So, either I move within or I move along. But, I have loyalty still so going to see a few cases through to their end in fall since I am deeply involved. Finding what is going to be my career is most important to me.
