Advertising is one of those professions that doesn’t require a degree. And I say this as someone with a bachelor’s degree in advertising.
Used to be an industry where the uncredentialed could thrive. Now it’s so over saturated, employers can set more prerequisites.
But I say you should go for it. Good luck 🤞
I don’t have a degree. I was until recently a head of strategy at a global network agency. No one ever asked or cared.
You should apply and don't worry about it. If you're asked about it, give an honest answer. But chances are no one is going to be too concerned.
I wouldn’t be afraid to apply if you are qualified for this role I mean it doesn’t say a college degree required and if you have the other qualifications, that’s probably good enough. I don’t know anyone that just assumes that people will have a college degree and worst case scenario, they just ask you about it
