Hi, I belong to the corporate bowl but I have snuck in to ask if anyone would be interested in assisting the Ukranian Crisis Legal Aid organisation that has been set up by a Hungarian law firm to pair up refugees and lawyers. NOF counts. But be careful about the timing of the rest of the ads and the filing of the PERM.
Nof doesn’t count to extend pwd.
Yes the NOF would start the recruitment period. You can use the PWD so long as any ad starts before the PWD expiration date. For ex: PWD expires June 30, 2022. NOF was first posted on June 29, 2022 and all other ads were posted and PERM filed timely. It counts. The PWD expiration can’t be extended. But it’s usable up until it expires so long as at least one form of recruitment has started.
Right but you don’t put dates on the 9089 right so the CO would probably deny and the you’d have to argue on a request for reconsideration right? Like how would the CO know
Nof is not part of recruitment required by 20 cfr 656.17e or 656.21 so does not extend pwd. See 656.40c. Per 656.10d3(iv), Nof must be put up between 30 and 180 days before filing.
