Maybe this sounds incredibly jaded and pessimistic, but I’d be wary of alerting every future employer that I’m a mom, and giving them a potential reason to not hire me. Anyone else feels similar?

I hear you. It’s tough. I personally would rather avoid a culture where that’s a problem to begin with so it’s a great filter for me. But I understand that it also comes from a position of privilege that I’m able to make that choice.

Workplace culture has a tremendous impact on me that waiting longer for the right opportunity is a better investment for my mental health and loyalty for a company.

So I chose an offer for Deloitte India over Infosys as a Node.js developer. Joining next week. But most of the time when people praise Deloitte they mean USI so I have been of two minds and wondering if I made the right decision.
