Would advise against transferring if you’re in middle of the PERM process. As your job title changes, it might affect the PWD & recruiting phases which occur as part of the green card process.

My piece of advice in I am in same boat as you are and D2 is right wait for your perm process and i140 to complete then you can move to core, because once you move to core they will again start your perm exactly I have no idea when. If you are not from India/China then they might start ASAP.

Alright fish, so I'm from a non-target school for consulting, for reference my school typically sends a couple to the Big 4 federal practices and FDD but definitely no MBB front office. Is there any way in hell I can break into some type of non-strategy role at a Big 4 firm with a B4 audit background and industry experience?
Like I'm trying to get a feel for if it's a waste of time for me to be applying. I've been hitting finance transformation advisory roles pretty hard with out much luck.

I have an offer from KPMG, and I am in talks with collabera, they are offering about 35% hike which will be 100% hike from my current ctc, while KPMG offers 65% on my current ctc.

KPMG is a research and stakeholders management role and collabera offers strategy role including working direct with VP.

I know the company is pretty small when company to KPMg, should I proceed with the interview?
