If you are in the Tampa Bay area, how would you describe your current job search? I have been looking for a couple months and I get to the 2nd face to face interview or ZOOM call and POOF, I never hear back from the company again. This after I take their sample project to prove my knowledge in the field. I think they are gathering ideas from designers "taking these tests" and using them for their own designs. Just disappointing. BTW, I do follow up on them, and I get no response. Any advice?

Planning to take the CIPP and CIPM. Will be doing self-study. What is the “book” everyone refers to for studying? Is it just the “study guide” the IAPP sells? Does anyone know if the study guides and sample questions you can buy on amazon are sufficient to use for passing? Appreciate any and all advice.

Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Like in 5-10 years I wouldn’t want to be a specialist or a ux director. I d like to be an art director or creative director. I love branding & marketing but also product. Would love something that allows me to do both?

How much time should I expect between starting a UX design boot camp, doing a job placement program with portfolio building to landing my first gig? I hope to be able to work quickly because I’ll have 15-20/week devoted to learning.
