Well what did he say?
Wouldn’t think much of it honestly. Politics right now are above and beyond contentious for everyone on any side you are on, so I can see how it could make some people feel weird for talking about any of it. Definitely weird times in so many ways, that especially. Did you think the statement was appropriate?
He’s a leader…. gotta set the tone

What was the statement?
Maybe initially but after I thought about it, no. It wouldn’t make me feel weird.
Do we work at the same company lmao (not EY)
I guess depends on what the statement was. But honestly I think it's weirder when people are pretending it didnt' happen. Imagine if it had been Biden.. then everyone would be mad their boss didn't make a statement. Don't you think?
But Trump is not the president. So, why would your CEO say anything about it? If POTUS was shot, it would put our national security at risk and impact the economy. That's worth a calming statement from a CEO. But since Trump is not POTUS, his death would not put our country or economy at risk. I would suspect my CEO is a Trump supporter, I would be very concerned, and probably start looking for new employment.
He could have said nothing - that’s my stance
