Lots of people are unskilled here in things they should know, and are not onboarded very well onto new teams which further contributes to the unskilled-ness. Also the culture is very strange, like everyone hates their job or something but is forced to keep working here. Not much innovation also.
My experience, it is a train wreck. I can't say I know anyone who comes close to liking their job much less loving it. It also seems that most people do not even fully understand what their jon entails...just pass the task to someone else that "might" know what to do with it. This company should really focus more on their employees and members than on how much money they can save with cutting programs. It is a quantity over quality company...they "say" otherwise, but if you know...you know.
My experience - I previously worked consulting. I enjoy the more laid back atmosphere at Optum, but I was shocked at how unskilled my coworkers were when I started
