I just had an interview and really hope I get the position. But even if I do, I think they are gonna offer me 75K and I have 3 busy seasons under my belt. I feel like that is too low for me to leave..
Hello my consulting friends. I’ve a final round at EY parthenon SSG group this week. They told me it will be a fit, technical and presentation interview. Could any of you help add a little color to what the interviews would look like. I’m not a very technical person so that “technical” round is giving me a little anxiety. Any help would be appreciated. EY-Parthenon
How do you keep your endurance up while interviewing at multiple places? I went from hearing nothing for months to having 4-8 interviews a week. It’s a great problem to have, even if it’s been different kinds of draining when applying for jobs vs. prepping for and going through interviews.
Fellow 🐠, if you interviewed at Juul, can you share your experience and thoughts of them as a company? Please don’t pass judgement. I don’t want to be a traveling consultant for life 😞 TIA!
Has anyone here been interviewed by a major news outlet? I have an opportunity but it has to do with a negative event for my employer, so I’m hesitant.
Deloitte sucks! I interviewed with them a few weeks ago. I was a senior consulting S&O a few years back and they now interviewed me for sr consults OTT. Well... I was offered a consultant position
EY partner worried about where I got my undergraduate degree. Basically overlooking my 10 year experience and achievements during interview. Good riddance

How do you gauge how much time there is for a market size within a case? I used to over-segment my framework/assumptions. Now I’ve kept to 5-10 mins, but recently bombed an interview because....
I’m bad at interviewing bc I can’t look at charts and come up with insights on the spot (it takes me a few minutes to process). But that doesn’t mean I’m bad at critical thinking. I feel like the interview process for MBB is flawed
So, a month ago I was offered a data engineer position at a fintech firm. I was going to accept it. The interview process had taken over a month. Then, at the last minute, an old coworker/friend - who is a manager at FAANG now - randomly offered me a data engineer __contractor__ position at a FAANG. The rate was really good - more than the fintech company was offering as annual salary. Rate was 160/HR and fintech was 275K TC. The benefits are ok - it’s a W2 contractor. But I’m thinking of...

Last Tuesday, I had a partner interview with PwC Australia. Partner told me that I would receive a result until the end of previous week. But I haven’t received it yet. I emailed Responsible recruiter last Friday but the feedback was not available at that time. Today I decided to follow up again regarding interview result and she told me that she has received feedback and wanted to call me tomorrow. Does it mean that she will give reason for rejection? What should I expect from this call?
How many companies now a days offer a sign on bonus when you accept an offer? & is their a way to bring it up in interviews?
I'm in the process of applying for a job and am in direct comms with their CMO who I'd be reporting into. I've noticed they've always emailed me or responded to me in the evening / weekends, even with non-urgent emails. Is this a work life balance red flag?
Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones? https://blog.shrm.org/blog/9-interesting-interview-questions-that-actually-reveal-a-lot-about-candidat

Hi! For people who have started with EY US recently, how long did it take you from signing the offer, completing background check, to transferring H1B visa? I'm supposed to start in mid-Jan and trying to gauge the timeline so I can put in notice with my current company and plan other stuff. Given that holiday is coming and EY immigration seems pretty slow. TIA!
I'm throwing a party for my best friend. Can anyone recommend the best Hilton hotel in Chicago? Looking to get two nice rooms.
Hi fishes, I'm currently looking to switch jobs for a better role in a product based company but I am unable to find jobs that are suitable for my current level. Uber recruiter reached out to me about a Strategy Ops Manager role. They asked me my compensation requirement and stated the base is 90k, which is less than what I’m currently making at a lower level. Are they lowballing me? Should I continue with the interviewing anyways and try to negotiate in later stages?

What does the market look like for M&A consultants in the next two years? I'm talking to a firm that has 90%+ utilization so they have open roles. Changing companies in a time like this appears risky though. What is everyone else seeing?
How do you deal with overcoming self-doubt? I’m a 1st year and recently have been asked more and more to send out contracts I prepared to clients or opposing counsel without any review and it has me a bit shaken up.
I am on an h1b in city A and I found another job in a city B. In terms of providing documents to the new employer for the h1transfer, will it be a problem if I do not have an address in city B as yet? What are my options? I was thinking I would find an apartment while my transfer petition is being processed. Anyone that can relate to this?
