How do you stay motivated in an industry that is seemingly unimportant when put into perspective of other macro cultural trends and world events?

I got raped a month ago while I was out on a first date and I’ve been feeling very weird about it. I told one of my close friends about it as soon as it happened and he started blaming me because I went back to my rapist’s apartment.
I cut him off but he reached out to me today and I feel like throwing up. I am getting a weird feeling where my mind feels numb and I get dizzy and sometimes I feel like I don’t even exist. I feel like I’m dead inside.
