I’m BOH right now, making $17 an hour. The FOH crew swears I’d make way more with tips, but I’m skeptical. If you've worked both, which one would you say pays better when you're also factoring in the stress and the hours? Is the tip money worth losing a steady paycheck, or are they overhyping it?

Case load= malpractice? Small plaintiff’s firm of 25 attorneys. I was a 2 year associate hired and given 50 active files in pre litigation status. 9 mos later a partner quit and I inherited 45 more. I got up to 105 files. Now I hover at 85 active files in varying stages of pre lit. I asked managing partner for help and was told to settle more claims to lessen my load. Is this what people consider negative work culture?
