I’m BOH right now, making $17 an hour. The FOH crew swears I’d make way more with tips, but I’m skeptical. If you've worked both, which one would you say pays better when you're also factoring in the stress and the hours? Is the tip money worth losing a steady paycheck, or are they overhyping it?

It’s a risk you can have really good days and really slow days but you’ll most likely be making more in a tip position depending on how busy ur place of work is

I would also agree that FOH would pay much much more depending on business.

I personally went with the BOH path due to the consistency of my paychecks, and I also hated the feeling that I would have to be a kiss ass in order to earn my tips.

For sure front of house.

My personal opinion from what I have seen definitely FOH income wise and hour wise. Consider which position though. Usually bartenders have more responsibility and longer hours, they don’t get a chance to get “cut” early.
Additionally, consider if you can handle so many other personalities even when you have your own stress..
sometimes it is difficult to separate life stressed and deal with customers who are difficult.

Also… tips are not taxed up to a certain amount and I have noticed that a lot of places have been paying more hourly.

Any suggestions on what job titles at agencies or brands I should reach out to for more branded content opportunities? I've had my own independent shop for 5 years and have been fortunate enough to get a steady stream of influencer and celebrity based video and social media campaigns from referrals. I've had one media agency and another brand that's been my go to for years but I'm looking to expand further and would love any tips outside of the network I've been operating in. Thanks!

Case load= malpractice? Small plaintiff’s firm of 25 attorneys. I was a 2 year associate hired and given 50 active files in pre litigation status. 9 mos later a partner quit and I inherited 45 more. I got up to 105 files. Now I hover at 85 active files in varying stages of pre lit. I asked managing partner for help and was told to settle more claims to lessen my load. Is this what people consider negative work culture?

Hi everyone,

I have got the ey hr mail stating i should provide him with aadhar card, information sheet and latest resume for a audit and assurance contract for 6 months as iam a semi qualified CA.

Here my question is should i take this opportunity. Cause since this is only for 6 months. After that, what i can do, where should I try to get the job?

In mid size firms, people won't pay as much as big 4 pays.

Should I take it or am I making a mistake by taking this.

For those of you in healthcare related account management, what is your healthcare background? I am clinical and getting ready to hire a higher level account manager. I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management. I don’t want to miss the right person because of my bias, so im wondering how many healthcare related AMs have healthcare/clinical experience… thanks in advance!
