Hello all, I have an offer from Quantiphi and another famous travel company which is building a technical arm for themselves. Both the companies are offering same compensation. HRs are calling for offer acceptance. I am leaning towards Quantiphi as the culture is well known to me.
But I have to decide soon. Should I accept both the offers and then decline one at the time of joining. I am new to this and find this a little unethical. Can someone help?

Any thoughts on moving to defense-side?
Sure. I always have thoughts that if I’m not paid enough and the work load is horrible then I should go elsewhere even if the other side of the fence is also overworked. If I’m going to be miserable, I’d rather be miserable in my Porsche than miserable on public transport.
Yeah thats is not sustainable - and if they gave you the retiring attorneys entire active caseload I would ask them to split it up. if nothing else just focus on the client and if u feel as though your ability to attend to their matter is creating a sense of urgency and rushing through things - then stand up for yourself - or youll continually carry 100+ cases as a norm.
you know where the line in the sand is and given the nature of the case dump all at once they should understand. Plus every case is different in terms of the time commitment to attend to it properly and it would only make sense that youd need a chance to get through the files before determining the actual time commitments youd need.
its probably a heavier workload working for plaintiffs in L&E matters than it is in when I was mostly pursuing default judgment in simple loan defaults and securing and remarketing the collateral. of the On the litigation team I was on, (I had to hire outside counsel for every case- and facilitate the whole thing bc the massive bank has zero litigation attorneys).
good luck! 🍀
