I have got the ey hr mail stating i should provide him with aadhar card, information sheet and latest resume for a audit and assurance contract for 6 months as iam a semi qualified CA.

Here my question is should i take this opportunity. Cause since this is only for 6 months. After that, what i can do, where should I try to get the job?

In mid size firms, people won't pay as much as big 4 pays.

Should I take it or am I making a mistake by taking this.

My brother who has been a manager in retail the past 10 years just graduated with his MBA and wants to transition to a more corporate environment. What kind of roles / companies would be open to someone with his experience and qualifications? For awareness he is based in CT but open to remote roles.

I’m an Environmental Protection Specialist and make pretty good money for what I do. I just feel like I have more to offer than being a worker bee in a system at 25. I work with a lot of retirees and would love to return in my latter professional years. I have my Bachelors in Applied Coastal Environmental Science and want to expand my options. Any suggestions that won’t require me taking a crazy pay cut? I’m pretty much open to anything.

Is going to state/federal government to do investigative work a limiting move? Has anyone gone either route and found it to be particularly beneficial for their learning/development in this line of work? Let’s assume in this case money is the same or slightly better, even if only short term.

Anyone think audit is not for them and think their performance is being effected by it? I never felt like anything was clicking, I’m trying to learn but my conversations with those above me tend to lean towards needing improvement.
