I’m currently at a Series C fintech startup in Chicago making $175k base with a 15% bonus and some lottery ticket equity. I’ve been here three years and just shipped a major core feature, but my latest comp review was basically a pat on the back and a 3% COLA adjustment. Given the current market, am I significantly underpaid, or is $200k+ total comp only a reality for Big Tech these days?

From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.

I’m trying to pivot to PM after >3 years in finance and I have a 2nd round interview with CPO this week. Company has 3.7 on Glassdoor with complaints about CEO, “bro-y” culture, and hard to wfh. Role is 50/50 hybrid, pays well vs what I make, and most importantly would be a foot in the door to PM. Is this a good place to be for PM? What else do I need to find out to know for sure?
