Left executive role in industry to follow a dream and open a new company. It didn’t go quite as well as planned. Fast forward three years and I joined a large consulting firm as a way back in. It’s painful. I’m in a “leadership” role, but consider myself a worker bee. Even though opening my own thing was the best thing I’ve ever done in terms “knowing what I want”, it’s not valued in industry. The Q is will consulting get better or should I take a lower level industry job (VP) and call it a day?

What’s the best consulting specialty for exiting into a top tier PE’s Ops group? Should I stay in strategic transformation consulting or strive to get in M&A strategy or restructuring? I have 2 YOE, currently focusing on strategic transformation work. Do I need an MBA (non-target UG)? Should I wait till I get promoted to an EM before looking for an exit? Does being a part of PE Ops team mean pretty much being a temporary co-executive at a portfolio company? Feel free to destroy my naiveté

Got into an M7 with 50% scholarship and plan to pursue consulting (targeting MBB). Given the hiring frenzy, should I try applying with referrals now and skip the MBA? Worried that if I strike out now, firms would be less inclined to give me an interview during school, when I’d be better prepared. i submitted all docs in HCL in june, its august now, offer letter not released, when asked HR, she is saying that she is following up with project.

I was told to wait for some days multiple times, and now i am told to wait one week more, moreover when i asked HR this time that will i get offer letter eventually she herself sounded unsure and told to keep other opportunities open, i am not sure if the hiring is frozen or is on hold ?

I had my first round of interviews with Mckinsey last Friday. the first case was a disaster but the second case + both of the PEI were quite good. Hi there, I am looking for remote nursing jobs in New Hampshire. I have my compact nursing license, my BSN and have been a nurse for almost 6 years. Before that, I was an LNA. I come with experience. I can’t seem to get an interview for these types of jobs. Ill get eyes on my applications, will get a call back and then turned away due to having a compact license. For ex. I got a call back from A company out of Maine but says I need a Maine license. Anyone else have this issue?

I want to work remotely, but am needing ideas for what to put on my resume. I’ve been an RN for 15 years and have worked mainly in hospitals: med surg, and some work in LTC, SNF, ALF, hospice. I have a year of teaching nursing students in clinicals and labs, and some lecture teaching. Also, I have done regional advising at a call center for 7 months.
