Get out for a girls night or do some other self care. And talk to a recruiter near you? (Happy to send a referral if you want.)
Any time I fill out an application, I pretend it is sailing off into the sunset and I wish it well. I just generally assume I'll never hear back from it and if I do, cool.
Something like 60% of current job postings are fake anyway, no point getting your hopes up over something that's probably not even real.

I’m in a similar position pigeonholed in a niche litigation area that doesn’t have an obvious adjacent in-house path or something less toxic/chaotic. I’m 9 months pregnant about to take my leave and praying I can find a new position before having to return. Hopefully the new year will bring a better job market 🫠 For now, trying to learn to not let the job impact my mental health but I still wake up feeling like I’m being hunted due to the anxiety.
