I graduated with my MBA in finance in 2020 and began working at a bank as a Management Trainee. 2 years later, I am an assistant to a financial advisor studying to become a financial advisor. However, I have to do this on MY time and not the bank's.

I have been working as accountant for past 10 years at a logistics company. I want to change my route and join different industries for better challenges and opportunities. How can I approach new firms with this single industry background.

Need advice: I just joined a pharma company <1 year ago with a promotion likely in 1 yr. I’m in a commercial role at the TA level, making 250k. However, I just got an offer to join a different company’s medical affairs team, with >400k TC. Is the career trajectory of commercial worth making less money?

Is our industry as competitive as some say? I see a lot of people saying this and I work with a bunch of hacks (myself included). It felt like a little while ago agencies were begging to hire new talent, and most couldn’t find new people. Is it really that hard to get a job at an agency? Does anyone have any advice on how to shift from a specialist (paid advertising) to a more strategic (in digital marketing) role?
