For a position as an underwriter at State Farm- I know they provide training, but is it helpful to take an online course in property and casualty and then take the licensure exam on my own?

I am in a client service account associate role right now helping AMs/AEs/Producers manage their books of business. A recruiter reached out to me with a Client Manager position.
