I think it's more than okay to wear this to work. I don't see the problem with it at all actually. Sure, it's got a slightly casual look, but if you're tucking it in a, I think it could look just as professional as normal collared shirts.
I think if you wore a crisp white one it would look fine. But as MD1 says it can give more casual vibes
They are more definitely more casual because you can't wear a tie with them and they often look best untucked. Crisp black or white shirts with this collar will make you look like a server in a restaurant. The guy in the photo gets the look right.
