Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

I try to take at least 25 days. That was the old policy before we went unlimited.
there is no right answer to this question that is why unlimited PTO is an abomination
Oh I wish I had unlimited PTO! I would take what I need within a reasonable limit of course. Maybe see what others have taken in the past
Took 7 weeks so far, planning to take another 2
25 days
I’ve been here since before the switch to unlimited so I take what we had before the switch. Some years you’ll take more and some you’ll take less. I don’t think it would be frowned upon to take 30. They might start to wonder if you’re taking like 40 though. I definitely wouldn’t take less than 20 though.
I aim for 25-30, basically try and take a week or two off at the end of every project
5 weeks
One year! I guess I’m not shy when it comes to enjoying PTO
Unlimited PTO only benefits the employer.
At my firm, everyone below a certain level has accrued PTO and the amount depends on how long they’ve been with the firm. Minimum is 3 weeks and max is five. Everyone above those levels has unlimited PTO. I’m in the unlimited PTO category so I just make sure I take a minimum of 5 weeks (the max you can take under the accrual system)
