Stories like this are hard for me to feel any type of way on. I have NO idea what actually happened. Maybe the manager did kick them out for them touching a cart, maybe there is actually a ton more to the story, but we aren’t going to get that side because we just don’t know. I’ve had some crazy coworkers and some crazy customers, hard to say.
This doesn’t make sense to me either. I’ve been in situations where we’ve had to adjust U-boats to let people through, especially if they’re pushing strollers or have kids with them. Unless the couple was being disruptive or rude, it shouldn’t have been a reason to kick them out. I’m guessing the manager might have overreacted or misunderstood the situation. Maybe there was a bigger issue behind it that we’re not seeing.
