In March, I was told that I'm being counseled out with 4 mos to find another job. I have been actively seeking roles since then. I have had multiple screening calls and first round interviews, but nothing solid except for one role with a T4 consulting firm where I cleared the final round. I only have 3 weeks left at my current job, hence,considering this role. It is a contract-to-perm (6mo), 10-15% less in comp, and comes with risk of T4 reputational hit. Would you take it? Looking for advice.

I need some advice regarding this situation and what to do. So I work for a company that offers outsourcing services to major investment banks around the world. I have been working for a new client for about six months now and they seem to like my work so far. Recently I saw that they're hiring to get people on their team at my level. My question is, should I talk to my client and try to pursue them to consider me for the role they're hiring for?

How do you navigate when you've already accepted an offer, but you get a better one? I'm supposed to start a new role tomorrow but got an offer for the job I really wanted, and it pays 50k more. Is it horrible if I quit while having just started?

I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?
