I hv observed the same too... atleast in my space (~200 employees).
The work life balance pretty chill. Plus bonus and stocks is what i feel make people stay for long. Lilly gives enough time for people to learn/upskill on their own. Now it depends on individual on how to use that time.
A chill workplace comes with a con - relatively less exposure to growth in long term.
My personal suggestion - if u r already experienced, got enough money and no more looking for corporate race, then one should settle in Lilly and focus on personal life. If u r at ealry stage of yr career, then target some firm outisde and grind yourself there.
I don't think there are many ppl who have been working here for a long time. If they are, they must be the ones playing politics.. Many of them are here just for monetary benefits or to leave after their 2 year period, failing which they ll have to return their sign on bonus.
Is the work culture or work life balance not good in other project? What is the main reason for leaving?
