I currently work as a biomedical scientist but I want to change my career; so far I’ve done Salesforce Sale cloud consultant and Administrator exams and I am certified. I’m currently studying for the Service Cloud consultant certification .
So I would really appreciate if anyone could refer me for entry level roles in salesforce . I live in London, but I’m happy to relocate . Here’s my LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/modupe-olotu and the link to my online Portfolio https://mbosalesforcehow-to.carrd.co/

Depending on where you’re located, consider looking into a Professional Organization such as ATD (the Association for Talent Development) and others relevant to your field. In Philadelphia where I live, there is an association called PSPS (Philadelphia Society of People and Strategy) as another example. Both associations host virtual and in-person events. The in person events allow time for networking. The HR community is welcoming and will be happy to meet you!
PSPS is great (I'm a member and have served on the Board in the past), but keep in mind it's for senior HR people. I don't think an HR Coordinator would qualify for membership. The local SHRM chapter may be a better choice.
It’s never too late….but my best tool was making sure key words up to date in LinkedIn. That summary section is important. Your headline too.
Most people want to keep their information close to the vest to protect themselves and their job. Working in house causes so many behind the scenes drama. Find a fit where there is less gossiping and find harmony. The bigger companies offer lots of cute benefits but it is a fight everyday for preferences with each other.
This is why I'm constantly preaching about networking. It's not something you do only when you're looking for a job.
Join your local SHRM chapter, get involved, and volunteer for their events. Start connecting with people now -- not with "hey I need a job," but by congratulating them on their successes, helping them if they need it, sharing articles or videos you think they would be interested in.
Networking is, or should be, constant.
