Agree with above comment. What made the most difficult for me was actually a really good cut

It’s been a timesaver for me and I get more polished results than I was getting with my old dryer/straightener, but if price is an issue I’m not sure it’s worth that much more than regular tools.

I really like mine BUT I have had major issues with the round brush attachment (my most used attachment by far) coming loose and flinging across the room. It starts out great but then the prongs that hold the attachment into place become warped over time (around 2 months in my case). I tried to get it replaced under the warranty but the part was out of stock so Dyson couldn’t replace it. I waited months for it to come back in stock but it didn’t and I eventually bought a slightly different size replacement from ulta as soon as I saw one in another color scheme available. But it was like $50. And now the second one’s prongs are becoming warped. From googling, it looks like other people have this issue, especially people with thick hair. My hair is not even that thick, and it is fine.

If you’re looking for a good styling tool, I love the revlon hair brush. It gives an incredible blowout look and feel for my hair and is <$50. Air wraps are nice but I’ve found the revlon brush to be my secret weapon for good hair.

That is great to know, thank you!

Shark makes one that is damn near identical and works just as well for about $200. I couldn’t stomach the price of the Dyson and so far I love the Shark.

I have one and I love it - it’s a bit of a learning curve but it works well once you get the hang of it. I use it to blow dry my hair straight while adding volume as well or as a way to get the blowout type look with the round brush and curled ends. I would watch a couple you tube videos as that is how I figured it out!

like

No, I borrowed a friends for 3 months (she didn’t like it either) and it was not worth the aggravation and learning curve. The results weren’t good. I have a ton of fine, straight hair and it did nothing for me. I have much better results using a blow dry brush for finishing after rough drying to like 80-90% dry. I use the Amika one since it doesn’t get as hot as the revlon one.

A good friend of mine graduated from Parsons this past summer, has degrees in Journalism and French, is a talented photographer and designer (which I feel I have a pretty decent eye for after working at a design-driven branding agency for half a decade). And I’m certain she’d make a fabulous junior AD or content strategist. Unfortunately she, like many in this pandemic, is still without a job. Any advice for her and/or shops/hiring managers/non-traditional job hunt tips to steer her towards?

I am an IT architect with 10 years of experience specifically in Salesforce products. I am thinking of moving from a strategy consulting role to an architecture role in Salesforce (company) itself. I have experience building tech strategies and also technical project delivery.

Wondering if it makes sense to apply for an Enterprise Architect (pre-sales) or a Senior Technical Architect role??

Also in terms of seniority and salary are these roles any different?

There is a fair amount of psychology used in advertising - however, psychology is a field of medicine; medical ethics dictates fully informed consent of a patient before use of medical techniques.

If people are unaware of the basics of Neurolinguistic Programming, they can’t consent to be subjected to psychological techniques. If someone is a minor, they cannot consent to be subjected to psychological techniques.

How does one remain competitive without violating psychological ethics?
